October 2018

The development has completed and tenants are moving in.

September 2018

The completion of the development has been put back to the middle of this week. The team were on site on Thursday last week and advised that there are a couple of minor requirements needed before building can be signed off and these were done over the weekend with final testing taking place today and tomorrow.

CRL the warranty providers were also on site on Thursday and confirmed the warranty will be issued this week, which means building completion has been delayed until later this week.

PG Legal will be updating the completion statements to reflect the new interest accrued and sending those out.

August 2018

- Mechanical & electrical (M&E) first fix is 100% complete
- M&E final fix for the first and second floors is signed off
- M&E final fix for all floors will be signed off w/c 6th August
- Window installation is 100% complete
- Plastering is 100% complete
- Installation of the rainscreen is 100% complete
- Installation of the render system is 100% complete
- Flat roofs and dormers are 100% complete
- 2nd fix joinery is 90% complete, with all kitchens 100% fitted
- All bathrooms are 100% fitted
- Decoration is complete on floors 1, 2, and 3, and at 50% on the ground and 4th floor
- All studio doors and key fob locks are now 100% fitted
- Furniture is now fitted on the first and second floors
- The central atrium pendulum lights are fitted and 100% decorated
- The reception and front entrance steps are complete
- The bin store is 60% complete
- Landscaping is 50% complete
- The roof top garden will be decked out w/e 3rd August
- Communal spaces are now fully tiled, with decoration 50% complete
- All three lifts have been fitted and are in use
- The electric substation, gas and water supplies are now fully commissioned
- The water heating system is 90% complete, due to be commissioned w/c the 6th
- The safety inspection came back as good
- There have been no accidents to report.

June 2018

- First mechanical and electrical (M&E) fix is 100% complete
- Second M&E fix is 75% complete
- Window installation is 100% complete
- Internal partitions are 90% complete
- Installation of rainscreen is 65% complete
- Installation of render system is 75% complete
- Flat roofs and dormers are 100% complete
- 2nd fix joinery is 40% complete and kitchens are being fitted
- Bathrooms are now being fitted
- Central atriums: pendulum lights fitted and in decoration
- 50% of the building is fully plastered
- All three lifts have been fitted
- The electric substation, gas and water are now fully commissioned
- Scaffolding is now being removed
- Design and communal spaces are agreed for fitting
- Safety inspection came back as good
- No accidents to report
- Furniture has been ordered
- 120 of the 191 units are confirmed as tenanted with further weekly bookings and enquiries ongoing
- Anticipated completion is mid-August 2018

Show Flat

- The show room office opened in January to allow ease of access to the show home

Student Facilities Management who are managing the tenants and the block have set up their temporary office in one of the adjoining rooms next to the show flat and will be conducting viewings and opening times.

January 2018

- The scheme has no delays
- The east, west and centre wings are now fully roofed in
- All wings now have scaffolding erected
- Window installation is at 50%
- Metsec Walls (wall frames) installation is at 70%
- Fire health and safety electrical measures are all agreed
- Electrical first fix is now 18% complete
- Health and safety audit came in as excellent

A new designer has been employed who is working on a grand design for the two large glass central atriums from ground to roof level. The designer will be working on a wow factor for the reception, in-line with the central atriums.

December 2017

- The scheme is on schedule, without delay
- The steel work (superstructure) was fully erected on the 28th November
- All lift shafts are complete, with all floors now shuttered and concreted
- The West and Centre Wings now are fully roofed, with windows now being fitted
- The West and Centre wings now have scaffold the East wing is at 90% with scaffold
- Cladding will start on the West wing W/C the 8th January
- Fire hazard cause and effect has been agreed for the scheme
- Key entry and security measures including CCTV are now full agreed for the whole building
- Third health and safety audit came in as excellent
- Showroom complete, viewings are now taking place, and a number of rooms have already been reserved
